Lead Technical Product Owner
Oeiras, Portugal
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Technical Product Owner to define and drive the solution strategy in collaboration with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and cross-functional teams.
This role will focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with business objectives. Strong presentation and pitching skills are essential to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also own the way of working process, ensuring Agile methodologies and best practices are consistently followed across teams. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of technical Product Owners and Business Analysts. Main Responsibilities:
- Solution Strategy: Define and lead the technical solution strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure technical feasibility.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of technical Product Owners and Business Analysts, fostering collaboration, accountability, and Agile execution across teams.
- Own the Way of Working Process: Own and continuously improve the team’s Agile processes and workflows, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment across all stages of product development.
- Continuous Improvement: Define success metrics, track performance, and drive product iterations based on feedback and data to improve user experience and product quality.
- Metrics for Productivity & Efficiency: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team productivity, delivery efficiency, and overall product performance. Drive initiatives to optimize development cycles, streamline processes, and improve time-to-market.
- Presentation & Pitching: Create and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to senior leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the solution strategy, progress, and technical concepts in a clear and impactful manner.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Foster strong communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment on solution goals, progress, and key metrics.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years in technical product management, with 2-3 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven experience leading and working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering Managers.
- Skills: Strong technical expertise, excellent communication, presentation, and pitching skills. Experience working in Agile environments. Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Advanced certifications (e.g., CSPO, Agile) are a plus.
