Grupo Brisa is looking for a Corporate Venture Associate for our Venture Capital Team!

Brisa Ahead Ventures is the Lisbon-based corporate venture capital unit of Grupo Brisa backing great teams who are building the future. We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced, driven Associate to help us source, analyze, and vet high-potential investment opportunities and take ownership of the investment process from end-to-end.

Role and Responsibilities 

• Source and manage deal flow, analyze deal opportunities across different verticals.
• Market research and analysis to characterize our focus markets
• Prepare clear, structured investment cases and recommendations.
• Manage Due Diligence and deal execution end-to-end
• Attend industry events and conferences to build your network and source deals.
• Work closely with the senior team, investment and ecosystem partners and portfolio companies to help drive portfolio company growth and deliver on our portfolio promises.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications 

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Direct experience in venture capital is highly preferred.
• Strong soft skills (EQ) and interpersonal abilities – we value people who can build trust and relationships.
• Analytical mindset with comfort working with financial data, business plans, and financial statements.
• Independent, structured thinker who can navigate ambiguity and clearly articulate insights.
• Resilient, self-starter, and solution-oriented – able to push internal teams and get things done.
