Brisa Group is looking for an Internal Auditor to join our Audit and Risk team!

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute internal audits, focusing on financial, operational, compliance, and IT controls, bringing value-added insights from financial services experience;
• Contribute to the enhancement of Brisa’s Internal Control System, including control testing and process improvements;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control processes and provide actionable recommendations;
• Collaborate closely with senior management, acting as an independent and trusted advisor;
• Analyze business processes and assess impact of changes in systems or regulations;
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, proposing enhancements when needed.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree (post-Bologna) in Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or another relevant field from a reputable institution;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Internal Audit, Risk, or Internal Control;
• Solid knowledge of risk and control frameworks (e.g. COSO) and auditing methodologies;
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken);
• Demonstrated autonomy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in conducting and leading end-to-end audits, from planning to reporting;
• Familiarity with data analytics and audit tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Python);
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with ability to synthesize complex information.
