Role and Responsibilities 

 

Under new leadership, in this team you will find collaboration, commitment, energy and drive but also room for professional growth in strategic and internal communications, employee storytelling, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic, mission-driven environment. It entails a high degree of ownership and autonomy in shaping and delivering key internal communications initiatives, with support and strategic direction from the Head of Communications and Public Affairs.

 

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive internal communication plans that drive clarity within the Company, generating energy amongst employees, helping the organizational climate and enhancing the sense of belonging within the Organization. 
  • Foster, revitalize, and support corporate culture, democratizing access to internal information, while supporting the goal of attracting new talent for the Group.
  • Drive employee engagement
  • Developing creative internal campaigns that turn employees into brand ambassadors
  • Skillful and sensible, ability to manage heterogenous internal audiences, with different needs
  • Passion for employee engagement events
  • Manage multiple internal communication channels
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of internal news, announcements, challenges, etc that effectively convey the company's messages to internal audiences. 
  • Crisis Communication: Antecipate, develop and implement crisis communication strategies to manage and help mitigate potential issues that may arise internally. 
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor internal sentiment and organizational climate and provide regular reports and analysis to senior management. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multiple internal teams, including marketing, sales, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and consistency in all forms of communication. 

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Excellent communication skills: Native level written and verbal Portuguese and English, with the ability to create clear, engaging content on complex topics.  
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to align communications with organizational goals and audience needs. 
  • Proactivity: “Go-do” mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently. 
  • Creativity: Willingness to challenge the status quo constructively and develop innovative communication approaches. 
  • Attention to detail: High standards for accuracy and quality in all deliverables. 
  • Organizational skills: Strong time and project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Experience in Internal Communications or Employee Communications/Storytelling: skilled in content creation for internal audiences 
  • Analytics mindset: Ability to assess and act on performance data from digital channels to improve content and engagement. 
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement/management: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse internal and external stakeholders. 
  • University degree in Communications 
  • 5-8 years of experience in Internal Communications, Public/Media Relations, or another equivalent/relevant field. 
  • Employer Branding as past experience also considered
