Your mission:

Your mission will be to carry out the activities indicated to ensure the coherent running of our Laboratory, in accordance with the Company's Policy, Objectives and strategic direction.

You will be responsible for ensuring that tests are carried out within the scope of the department manager's responsibility, following the established methods, the Accreditation criteria and the Client's requirements, with professionalism, impartiality and confidentiality.

• Assist in the development and revision of procedures and other documentation of the applicable Management System;
• Collaborate in the digitization of the Measurement Management System implemented in the Laboratory;
• Ensuring that tests are carried out within the scope of the department head's responsibility, following the established methods, the Accreditation criteria and the Client's requirements, impartiality and confidentiality;
• Review and authorize test results before issuance, within the scope of assigned competencies and analyse results and issue conformity statements (when applicable).
• Participate in the preparation and conduct of Management reviews;
• Contribute to the development of Laboratory Quality Control Plans, monitor their implementation, and evaluate performance;
• Participate in evaluating normative changes and their alignment with Intermediate Flexible Accreditation;
• Control external documents applicable to the Laboratory Management System.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related areas (Specialisation in Roads);
• Master's thesis preferably in the areas of pavements, geotechnics, circular economy;
• 1 year's experience in laboratory testing of road construction materials;
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025;
• Knowledge of Metrology, MathLab and Python (preferred);
• Fluency in English.
