Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within the Data Office team to support the successful roll-out of the Group's Data Transformation Program;
• Support the seamless integration of Data Architecture into broader Data Management and Analytics initiatives by providing expert guidance on Data Architecture throughout the Data Lifecycle;
• Lead the creation of a Group Data Architecture blueprint, aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements, outlining the overall structure, standards, and principles for Data Management;
• Along with the IT and other Data Management teams, oversee the configuration, integration, and optimization of tools included in the Data Architecture blueprint to enhance Data Management capabilities;
• Collaborate in defining performance indicators and quality metrics for the Data Architecture initiatives;
• Provide guidance on Data Architecture best practices to other members of the development and analytics teams;
• Provide training and support to internal teams for effectively utilizing cloud-based data platforms.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or equivalent;
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role;
• Strong expertise in Data Modeling and Database design;
• Experience with ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Lake or similar processes and tools;
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Strong understanding of Data Management dimensions - e.g. Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, and Data Privacy and Security;
• Ability to collaborate across teams and levels.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or related fields
• Certifications in Cloud-based data solutions
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Databricks);
• Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics
• Knowledge and/or experience of the Data Mesh paradigm.
