Grupo Brisa is looking for a talented Data Governance Analyst Intern with high potential to integrate the Data Office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the Data Office team to support the successful roll-out of the Group's Data Transformation Program;
• Assist in the integration of Data Governance into Data Management and Analytics by supporting the application of its principles across the data lifecycle;
• Help build and maintain a comprehensive Data Governance Framework by assisting in defining and documenting policies, processes, roles, and responsibilities;
• Assist in building and maintaining a comprehensive Data Catalog, helping to ensure clarity on data discovery, access, metadata, lineage, and usage guidelines;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Data Governance policies, standards, and best practices are followed. Take part in audits to check compliance with guidelines.;
• Help foster a data-driven culture by supporting awareness initiatives about the importance of Data Governance across the organization;
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at driving organizational behavior change regarding data usage, supporting the vision of data managed as a valuable asset.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Recently completed higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, Economics, Business, Finance, or equivalent;
• Basic understanding of Data Governance concepts and Data Management dimensions, such as Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, and Data Privacy and Security;
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, current technologies supporting Data Governance Frameworks, such as Purview;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels;
• Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy;
• Knowledge and/or experience of SQL or Python is a plus.
