Main Responsibilities:

• Support the successful roll-out of the Group's Data Transformation Program;
• Support the seamless integration of Data Governance into broader Data Management and Analytics initiatives;
• Drive and lead the establishment of a comprehensive Group-wide Data Governance Framework;
• Along with the IT and Data Architecture teams, oversee the configuration, integration, and optimization of Data Governance tools;
• Build and maintain a comprehensive Data Catalog, providing clarity on data discovery and access, metadata, lineage, and usage guidelines;
• Collaborate in defining performance indicators and quality metrics for the Data Governance initiatives;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce Data Governance policies, standards, and best practices. Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to Data Governance guidelines;
• Work in tandem with the CISO and DPO to ensure synergy between Data Governance and Data Protection;
•  Support the training and development of data owners, stewards and all other employees on Data Governance principles, tools, and practices;
• Drive organizational behavior change regarding data usage, realizing the vision of data managed as a valuable asset.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, Economics, Business, Finance, or equivalent;
• Proven experience in implementing and managing Data Governance frameworks and capabilities in complex environments;
• Knowledge and experience working with current technologies supporting Data Governance Frameworks - e.g. Purview, Collibra, Informatica or others;
• Strong understanding of other Data Management dimensions - e.g. Data Quality, Metadata Management, MDM, and Data Privacy and Security;
• Experience in providing training and building awareness around Data Governance best practices;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels;

Nice to have:

• Certification in Data Governance or related fields and tools;
• Knowledge and/or experience of the Data Mesh paradigm.
