Brisa Group is looking for a Senior Data Scientist & Chapter Lead to join our Data Office team!

You will be responsible for: 

• Lead the Data Science Chapter to align goals with company objectives and deliver impactful solutions. 

• Guide and mentor data scientists to promote best practices, continuous learning, and skill development. 

• Standardize data science frameworks, tools, methods and best practices. 

• Help adopt MLOps/AIOps to drive model development and deployment efficiency. 

• Foster collaboration and effective communication with other Data & AI related teams. 

• Work with Business teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and solve challenges. 

• Design and run data analysis and experiments to test business hypothesis and ideas. 

• Develop, deploy, and maintain reliable AI/ML models. 

• Evaluate and optimize model performance using A/B testing and other methods. 

• Make data insights easy to understand using storytelling and visualization. 

• Drive innovation by exploring new tools, staying updated on data science trends, and integrating new knowledge to keep the team ahead. 

• Share knowledge through workshops, presentations, and documentation to boost team skills and data literacy. 

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical concepts.
• Experience in data modeling, data wrangling, and data visualization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Proven ability to align data science projects with business objectives and deliver results.
• Experience with developing and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
• Certifications in Data Science or related fields are a plus.
• Passion for personal or community data science projects is a plus.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks) is a plus.
• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., R, Java, Scala) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Fabric, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD and MLOps/AIOps tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, MLflow) is a plus.
• Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
