Brisa Group’s Planning and Strategy Department has as its main objective to drive this strategic transformation.

In this phase of accelerated growth and opportunities, we are looking for a Strategy Associate, with high potential of growth and ability to contribute to the development strategy of the Brisa Group and the achievement of the company’s strategic goals. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on high-impact projects that shape the future of the Group, with relevant direct exposure to the Executive Committee (as well as other governing bodies across the Group).

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

  • Drive strategic initiatives across business units, supporting growth, transformation, and innovation. This is a unique chance to bring consulting expertise in-house and help define and execute our long-term vision.
  • Ensuring the execution of the strategic planning processes for the Group, with emphasis on the multi-year strategic plan
  • Support the Executive Committee in the definition of strategic development for the Group, and in key analysis and decision-making processes
  • Ensuring the creation of value and balance of results in the Brisa Group’s business portfolio: proposing and recommending changes whenever necessary while ensuring that business units are aligned with the defined development strategy
  • Develop projects to improve the profitability of the Group’s assets and/or with a focus on business innovation and value creation for Brisa
  • Analyze concrete investment and divestment opportunities of strategic relevance and build proposals and/or recommendations, integrating business development M&A processes in the context of overall Group strategy
  • Coordination of internal consulting projects with multidisciplinary teams and across the Group
  • Develop market, competition, and financial analyses to support the decision-making processes across the Group, on relevant strategic projects.

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role, preferably in top-tier strategic consulting firms, and, as a plus, with some experience in the infrastructure sector
  • Capacity to balance strategic thinking with operational (execution) skills, ensuring solid management, strategic, and business vision, as well as problem-solving skills
  • Strong critical thinking and challenging capacity
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working autonomously and capacity to coordinate/ manage multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proactive approach to projects and managing stakeholders across the Group and business units
  • Experience in the preparation of business plans, and conducting detailed financial analyses
  • Fluency in English.
